Perth Ontario: The shop-heritage-perth.com site is now owned and managed as part
of its Multimedia Promotion activity by CyberSpace Industries 2000.

Perth residents and visitors might remember our retail
store, urbanMarket-Perth that used to be at 40 Gore Street. During more than a
decade in town, we assisted the BIA by constructing and managing this site. The site
has become very popular and is now visited by over 40,000 unique visitors per year.
Although we are no longer operating that retail store we will continue to operate and
expand the functionality of this site.

"shop-heritage-perth.com" provides information about this unique Ontario Heritage Town
as a preferred shopping destination for residents of Ottawa and Visitors. Downtown
Heritage Perth is the receipient of the 2004 Prince of Wales Prize for Heritage Preservation.
There are more than 70 shops, boutiques, specialty stores and restaurants in the Downtown
area available for your shopping and dining experience.

It is more than a shopping destination - it is a lifestyle!

The Trial of the Century

NEWS RELEASE - 19 February 2006

Perth Ontario: A multimedia slide presentation of the Trial of the Century - a mock trial presented by the Perth Historical Society to
present new evidence concerning Daniel Daverne (recently ucovered in the walls during the reconstruction of a
Downtown Heritage Perth building) is now available on the all-about-perth.com site.

In July 1819, Daverne, the postmaster, secretary, storemaster and acting superindent of the newly formed Perth
Military Settlement, was charged with peculation and abuse of Government power; was relieved of his position
by Col. Cockburn; and all his land grants were cancelled by the Duke of Richmond. Up to present time he was
neither found guilty or innocent of these charges.

A retrial was granted and held on October 19, 2005. At this trial, new evidence found in the personal journal of
Daniel Daverne was revealed for the first time. An overflow crowd and 7 descendents of Danial Daverne were in
the audience to judge whether Daverne was a scoundrel or merely the victim of a conspiracy.

Read all about Daniel Daverne, the recovery and restoration of the Daverne Journal and the Trial of the Century
at all-about-perth.com.

Perth Ontario: Are you an artist? Are you looking for a new and exciting venue to share your work with an appreciative audience? The
Gallery at the Studio Theatre is presently seeking local artists to show their work during the 2005-2006 season. The gallery
is located in both the upper and lower foyers of Perth's Studio Theatre. The Gallery at the Studio Theatre does not charge
